Dr. Peterson says that most children remember events from very early in their lives, from the age of two or younger.

They're concerned about their child adjusting to different foods and the busy schedule, but if a child is eating solids, they're eager to try new food and can develop a taste for Asian cuisine. Most development of the brain happens before age five, and even if a child doesn't remember everything, they learn that people around the world are different and it makes an impact on them as adults. Children don't have to take a big trip with their parents but travel to Asia opens up experiences that are out of the ordinary. Children don't often remember everyday events because one day is like another.
